Malaysia is a nice country, and definitely i am not talking about KLCC or Penang or Langkawi. It is not about the place or the building, it is about the people. It is just too unique to describe.
I went to a qiyamullail event a few days ago. I met with many people. Everyone of them was extremely sweet and soft-spoken. Very good akhlak. One of them works as the translator at one of the main Islamic book publisher. He looks like one of my friend, an older version. Apart from the same face, their behavior is quite similar too. Apparently he was an Azhar graduate, and he is not a typical ustaz. His voice was too soft to be heard, his advice was too deep with hikmah, his explanation was too clear to be misunderstood, free from jokes and unnecessary things. Definitely i miss to meet him again.
How i miss to do qiyam in jamaah. I love melodious and emotional Quran recitation. That night, my hunger was fulfilled. A young man, 3 years younger from me, became the imam. Masya Allah, he recited suratul Anfal so beautiful, imitating Syeikh Abdullah al-Matrood. Al-Matrood recitation is one of my favourites. I was so happy.
Try to listen to Abdullah al Matrood.
I envy that young man, he is a hafiz. Well myself, is still struggling to memorize quran. He can recite any surah he wants. He can do qiyam with full concentration. He has the whole Quran inside his heart. I really need to work hard to memorize more and more.
Those who are curious about Malaysian condition, there are many good things here. I apologize my previous entries seem to be all hardships and pains, but honestly there are truly sweet things, sweet people (like the hafizs and the ustazs), and sweet experiences (many Islamic programs and you just dont have time for all of these).
To all my friends out there, welcome back!
